Terry Ned Trobec, 79 of Green Oaks, IL, passed away unexpectedly on August 13, 2022. He was born on May 17, 1943 in Lake Forest, IL.
Terry shared his passion for biology with his students over the forty plus years he taught at Oakton Community College. He was highly regarded by colleagues and students alike, and many who knew him can share stories about how his passion, support, and mentorship touched their lives.
After retiring from teaching, he enjoyed watching nature at the local forest preserve, often relaying his observations to his family. He was an avid fan of collegiate and olympic wrestling, a voracious reader, and a dedicated and loving friend, brother, and father.
Terry is survived by his two loving children Kerry Trobec and Justin Trobec; his two loving grandchildren Nol and Ollie Trobec; and his loving sister Kayval (Don) Larson. He was preceded in death by his parents.
