This is a new feature I added to the site. If you want to discuss ANYTHING or just add a comment, feel free to participate! I'll start by asking: Are you planning to watch the Olympics and what is your favorite event?

Bill, There is a Birthday announcement for Robert Patelke on the site. Robert died 2 years ago. Is there a way to remove it?

Thanks, Tom Dunkerton

Still hoping we can do something a little more formal for our 55th.  Lake Forest Days in August sounds good, but maybe we could find a place a little more private than the beer tent.  All the best to everyone.

Hi Bill, Never found this message forum before. I was wondering if there were enough of us out West to have some sort of get together out here. LB is so far and last I returned there were more Westerners than locals. Any interest in something here? Alice Hastings Toppen

A west coast reunion would be great. I would be anxious to help if there is any interest.

Here it is, almost the first of May, and we have 8 inches of new snow on the ground.  It's been a dry winter here in the mountains of southern Colorado, but the last couple months have been really wet.  That's good!  Still hoping for a LFHS reunion gathering this August,  Gives me a chance to soak up some humidity.  Best to all.

I think a reunion on the West Coast would be fun!  San Francisco?  L.A.?  Las Vegas?  I would be happy to help organize - maybe for next fall?  And we would be happy if some of our friends from the East and Midwest joined us!

Lake Tahoe is another consideration..... I would also like to help put it together.

Exactly where and when is the Reunion get together?   I would like to book my reservtions asap.

Hope we have somewhat of a good response.   Diane Belmonte

Based on feedback from classmates, there will be no formal 55th reunion this year. However, you can join us at the Lake Forest Day Beer Garden the evening of Aug 3, 2016 for an optional, informal get together.

Is there a list of people who are expected to be at the Lake Forest Day get together at the beer tent on August 3rd? To me a High school reunion is a homecoming. Otherwise we might as well have in some nice place like Fiji or Australia.

Here's a thought--since some of us may be past the point of beer gardens, I was wondering if we might meet informally at a restaurant in town. I was thinking of The Silo, but I'm not really familiar with other restaurants in the area. We could meet around 3 p.m., a time which should not be very busy on a Wed. afternoon. Those who would want to go to the tent could do that in the evening. I know that I would just prefer air-conditioning, a nice chair, and easy acess to food/drink. I think Peter's idea of trying to get a list of those who are planning to attend is a good idea. Anyway...just a thought!

Great idea! How about this: I will post a list as an announcement. Whoever reads this and plans to attend, respond to this message and I will add you to the list for everyone to see on the home page. So far we have Aug 3, 3 pm at the Silo. Sue, I will put you on the list if that's OK.

Would love to help with a West Coast reunion. There are many of us out here---let's work on it. I'm in.

Regrettably, I will be in Stockholm Sweden on the 3rd visiting my brother Roger and seeing the newest addition to our family, my niece Hanna's two month old daughter Edith.
