BEERS, MORRISON D., better known as "Pete," passed away March 23, 2010. He is survived by his long time companion, Robert Clarke, his mother Jane Beers of Lake Forrest, Ill., his sister Barbara Hoskins (Michael) of Kerivlle, Texas, his brother Richard G. Beers of Lake Forrest, Ill., his father's twin brother Bertram Beers of Two Rivers, Wisconsin, cousins Robert Beers of Two Rivers, Wisconsin, Diane B. Shultz (David) and triplets Alexandra, David and Elizabeth of Blair, Nebraska, Waynette Wing of Wyzetta, Minnesota, Dena Wing Naylor of Wyzetta, Minnesota and Cristine Wing Lindstrom of Lake Minnetonka, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his father, Morrison D. Beers, MD. Pete attended the University of Arizona in Tucson, majoring in business administration. In Tucson, he took up horseback riding and competed in shows with his horse, "Midnight Mary," a Tennessee walker. Together they won many blue ribbons. Owner/Broker for Vita Group Properties in Miami, with friend and associate, Marilyn Carrera, Pete was active in the residential and commercial real estate business. He was an avid bridge player, loved cruises, the arts and all of his family and friends. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed. He brought smiles and laughs to all who knew him. Diane Belmonte (Patterson)

I am so sorry I did not get in touch with him before his death.   I always liked  Morrie and wondered where he was over the years.
